The Haunted Hydro has teamed up with three humane shelters for their 2007 season - “Flames of Fear”. Huron, Wood and Sandusky County Humane Societies will share all funds raised based upon the time each of their volunteers commit to the project.
The Haunted Hydro’s main event is scheduled for 13 nights at the Haunted Hydro Dark Attraction Park in Fremont, Ohio, during October. The “Flames of Fear” is a must see – whether you are a first time visitor to the Hydro or even if you have been coming for years. The entire courtyard area has been re-constructed, re-routed and re-vamped along with many new spooktacular room design surprises in the Hydro itself.
There will also be a new fundraising attraction, “Hit the Haunted Hooptie,” a car smash event, which will happen during the 13 nights of operation in October. This year, the popular Legend of Bloody Mary Ghost Show – a theatrical thriller with special effects – will also continue to frighten patrons of the Haunted Hyrdo.
There are many Hydro events that volunteers are needed for, including acting, building sets and props and staffing. Anyone willing to participate in our endeavors is greatly appreciated and welcome under the supervision of proper Hydro staff.
Please contact, Lauri (link to wchsvolunteers@yahoo.com), our Volunteer Coordinator. Volunteers will be required to complete a medical history form.
The Hydro is open Sept. 28, 29, Oct. 5, 6, 12, 13, 19, 20, 21, 26, 27, 28 and Halloween Night - Oct. 31st.
Times of operation are 7: 30pm to 11:30pm - Fri. & Sat. and 7:30pm - 10:30pm on Sundays and Oct 31.
