WCHS is very grateful to the people who support it. Large amounts of supplies are necessary to properly care for numerous animals. Often times we ask for smaller things, such as food, litter and cleaning supplies. However, at this time we have some special needs, too.

We need a supplier of clean, dry straw for the farm animals for whom foster families provide care. Do you know a farmer who would be willing to adopt us? How about a business or HVAC technician who would be willing to donate a furnace or furnace service twice a year? Another need lies with our floors. We desperately need someone who can reseal our concrete floors.

There are five main things that the shelter is always in need of:

1. Clay cat litter (not scoopable)
2. Non-ultra bleach and liquid laundry detergent
3. Hill’s Science Diet adult dog and cat food (dry) and Hill’s Science Diet canned cat food
4. Cleaning supplies (window cleaner, paper towels, anti-bacterial soap)
5. Ensure, vanilla flavored (We use this as a nutritional supplement for sick animals)
