- The WCHS rescues and places more than 300 animals a year in good homes.
- 84 percent of our expenses were focused on feeding and caring for animals and maintaining the shelter in which they're housed.
- Last year 72% of the WCHS operating budget came from donations and fundraising efforts.
The educational and fund-raising projects, the administrative duties like figuring payroll and paying bills, the coordination of adoptathons and volunteer projects are all dependent on volunteers. Nobody receives a salary for heading up the holiday fund drive. The treasurer donates his own time every week to ensure our staff receives their paychecks and our vendors are paid. There's no question that the WCHS runs a tight ship so that your generous donations can provide medical treatment, spay/neuter services and the essentials of food, water and shelter to animals until a permanent, safe home is found. The bottom line is we need you to save lives.
Individuals who donate $30 or more the WCHS will be considered members of the humane society. Members receive the WCHS newsletter Animal Corner and have voting privileges at the annual meeting.
Thank you in advance for your tax-deductible donation.
Your gift today can help save a life tomorrow.
