New Outreach Adoption Program |

The Wood County Humane Society announces a new Outreach Adoption Program, made possible through a generous grant from the Kenneth A. Scott Charitable Foundation, A Keybank Trust. WCHS will be establishing a regular schedule of visits to libraries, pet supply stores, summer festivals, and businesses with animals and educational material on the benefits of adopting pets. Along with some of our animals from the shelter, visitors can get information about adopting and considerations for making a good pet match with families. The animals will be available for on-site adoption, following the standard WCHS adoption application process. More locations will be added to the schedule in the very near future. |
